To accept grant funding in addition to the £3m Getting Building Fund grant funding already secured from the York and North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership

Decision:

Authorisation for the Corporate Director – Strategic Director to accept the £300k Getting Building Fund (GBF) from the York and North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership. This is in addition to the £3m already authorised for the Digital Infrastructure Programme

Reasons for the decision:

To provide additional funding that will support the delivery of the North Yorkshire Digital Infrastructure Programme

Alternative options considered:

The alternative option considered was to reject the additional grant funding, which would limit the opportunity for delivering additional benefits associated with the Digital Infrastructure Programme
