It is proposed that the framework contracts are extended initially
for the first 1-year extension period.
The decision has been made following a review of all options under
a Gateway process. The high-level advantages include; that the
contracts were competitively tendered through the approved open
public procurement process with prices and rates fixed for the full
term of the contracts (based on agreed annual price revision
clauses) helping to offset any current market prices increases /
risk, shorter process in extending over re-tendering from a
resource and cost point of view, no potential break in service
during changeover, ability to continue usage for traded services,
maintaining positive relationship with current suppliers.
None.
