To approve the implementation of a new
structure for the Adult Learning and Skills Service following
consultation with staff and trade unions. The new structure will be
implemented from 1 September 2022.
The current structure was not suitable to
achieve the outcomes of the service moving forward against a
challenging and rapidly changing national and local landscape. This
will enable the service to enable effective use of the
service’s income to support learner experience, support
effective engagement with a more diverse and increased number of
learners and improve quality of delivery.
