North Yorkshire County Council Health and Adult Services
Directorate currently commissions the offenders and substance
misuse housing-related support services through two separate
contracts, both of which are due to expire at the end of September
2020 having utilised all permitted extensions. North Yorkshire
County Council intends to re-procure these services from 1st
October 2020 within a single procurement process.
Decommission the service: not pursued as the
service is valued and aligns with strategic need
Jointly commission with other supported housing services: not
pursued as the mix of services was not appropriate at this
stage.
