To request permission to bid for funding from
the North East and Yorkshire Net Zero Energy Hub for Local Energy
Advice Demonstrator Programme funding for North Yorkshire on behalf
of a local consortium of partners.
Approval to submit an application by North
Yorkshire Council for revenue grant funding of up to £1.5m
covering two financial years 2023/24 and 2024/25 to the Net Zero
Hub Local Energy Advice Demonstrator Pilot Programme.
To enable a bid for funding to pilot
innovative delivery methods for home energy efficiency advice, to
support the implementation of the draft North Yorkshire Council
Climate Change Strategy and to respond to the declared climate
emergency.
A process of co design with public, private
and voluntary sector partners was undertaken to develop the most
appropriate project design.
