Following the publication of statutory notices, to seek approval to
lower the school age range of Overdale Community Primary School to
2-11 from 3 September 2023.
to change the age range of Scarborough,
Overdale Community Primary School from 3-11 to age 2-11 with effect
from 4th September 2023
This will provide a high quality play-based
provision for the 2-year-olds in the nursery class which meet the
requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) including
role play, sand, water, construction, reading, and free flow
between inside and outside play. This will offer children the
choice of play activities, allowing them to engage in learning
which is relevant and appropriate to their age and stage of
development.
