To accept the Arts Council England grant offer of £350,000
from the Place Partnership fund, toward the ‘Now Then’
project.
As well as achieving local cultural
development objectives for Selby District, completion of the Selby
Place Partnership project will deliver on Council priorities. The
new Council Plan recognises that “culture, heritage, arts and
sustainable tourism all play their part in the economic growth of
the county”. Activities within the Selby Place Partnership
programme will build capacity in the local creative and cultural
sector and be designed to drive town centre regeneration and
revitalisation.
