The Corporate Director Strategic Resources has approved the procurement of Super Fast North Yorkshire Phase 4 which is focussed on targeting rural areas and delivering internet connectivity of 30 megabits per second.
The value of the contract is estimated to be £12,500,000
The duration of the contract is estimated to be build period + 10 years.

The Superfast North Yorkshire Project (SFNY) intends to procure a provider to deliver Phase 4 of superfast broadband roll out in North Yorkshire. The SFNY Project aims to deliver against a Vision to secure as close to 100% coverage as possible of next generation access (“NGA”) broadband in North Yorkshire. Phase 4 of SFNY specifically is intended to target rural areas which have not benefitted from previous interventions.
