Purpose:

To consider a contact award for the supply of Marinated Chicken products and accompanying products. Through a procurement exercise. The decision is required as our current supplier is not in a contract and due to the increase in popularity our annual spend now needs a contract in place. The procurement will provide consistency and continuity within our units and prevent service disruption.

Decision:

To introduce a new Contract for the Supply of Marinated Chicken Products and Accompanying Products.

Contract to commence 1st April for 2 years with an optional 2 year extension.

Reasons for the decision:

The scope of this procurement is to award a contract for the supply of marinated chicken and accompanying products.

Currently we are using a supplier without a contract in place.

None given.
