To accept the recommendation by Councillor Janet Jefferson to award £1,500 of her Locality Budgets funding to fund the prizes for the 'Summer' and 'Winter' competitive Medley Skins and Freestyle Skins competitions for Scarborough Swimming Club.
Cllr Jefferson is a member of the North Yorkshire Sports Council and has also attended special Gala events during 2023 involving Scarborough Swimming Club in her capacity as Deputy Charter Mayor.
The funding will support this specific project recommended by Councillor Jefferson which directly promotes the social, economic, or environmental wellbeing of the communities within the Division she represents.
