The award of a contract to Civica UK Limited for a choice based letting system via CCS framework RM1557.13. Contract term of two years with a single one-year extension available.

The contract has a maximum value of up to £300,000 (exc VAT).

To ensure a compliant contract is in place from 1 June 2024 and to rationalise and consolidate the legacy contractual arrangement adopted since local government reorganisation.

In addition, this will ensure that we can deliver a single allocation scheme by 1 April 2025 as required by law.

The service cannot be provided in-house.

There are a very small and limited number of alternative suppliers who can provide this service and this, combined with the operational challenge of delivering a single allocation scheme led us to maintaining the relationship with our current supplier.

This approach also provided us, and the partner landlords who collectively make up the North Yorkshire Home Choice Partnership, the necessary assurance that we can remain compliant with both our responsibilities under the relevant legislation and with the Regulator of Social Housing.
