Corporate Director of Resources in consultation with, the Executive Members for Finance, and Executive Member for Culture, Arts & Housing, and Open for Business, authorise submission of an EOI to the Cultural Development Fund for £4.7m for the Artery project.

Reasons for the decision:

The CDF ‘Artery’ project outlined in the report links into the existing Selby Station Plaza flagship regeneration programme that will enable Selby to capitalise on its cultural heritage, making the town more appealing, and increasing footfall. Cross-sector and cross-directorate working will champion new inclusive ways of working.
