To undertake a procurement exercise for Hard
Facilities Management Fire and Intruder Alarms: Servicing and
Responsive Maintenance
To undertake a procurement exercise to
establish a new contract for Hard Facilities Management Fire and
Intruder Alarms: Servicing and Responsive Maintenance for North
Yorkshire Council.
A decision has been made to undertake a
procurement exercise to establish a new contract for the Hard
Facilities Management Fire and Intruder Alarms: Servicing and
Responsive Maintenance, as the contracts established by the former
County Council for this are due to expire. The new contract will
also include provision to provide all relevant servicing and
maintenance for additional Council properties as other contract
arrangements expire, as well as provision for Property’s
Traded Service Property Solutions clients.
The procurement will commence later this year with a view to having
new contracts in place for the 1 April 2025. It is proposed that
the new contract will be for a duration of three years with options
to extend for a further four years (resulting in a maximum contract
period of seven years).
