To accept the recommendation by Councillor Janet Jefferson to award £1,290 of her Locality Budgets funding to fund the purchase and installation of a post mounted information board for the Friends of Merryweather Garden.
Cllr Jefferson is the North Yorkshire Castle Division Councillor where the Merryweather garden is being created and a member of the Friends Group and Keep Scarborough Tidy.
The funding will support this specific project recommended by Councillor Jefferson which directly promotes the social, economic, or environmental wellbeing of the communities within the Division she represents.
