Amendment to the Corporate Director of Community Development’s scheme of sub-delegation, as follows:

• Contracts Grants and Tenders – Gateway approval – ‘Further sub-delegations’ have been deleted, as only Assistant Directors can be sub-delegated

• Director Recommendation – Exemption to requirement to invite bids for the award of a contract – amended to 'non-delegated'

Reasons for the decision:

To update the Corporate Director of Community Development’s scheme of sub-delegation.

Alternative options considered:

There is no practical alternative. It would not be practical to not make any sub-delegations to other officers.

It is a matter of good governance to periodically review the scheme of Corporate Director of Community Development’s sub-delegations.
