North Yorkshire residents will benefit from the work of the
Yorkshire Derwent partnership (YDP). The ambition of YDP is to
attract significant funding collectively to deliver large scale
landscape improvements in the YDP catchment area and this requires
an organisation of sufficient size to manage these budgets. As the
majority of the Yorkshire Derwent river catchment lies within North
Yorkshire, and North Yorkshire County Council is the lead flood
authority, North Yorkshire County Council is a key partner to take
on the role of accountable body.
None apart from not to act as the Accountable
Body.
