The purpose of this report it to seek approval from the Corporate Director of Community Development to reprocure North Yorkshire Council’s Site and Event Security provision. The current framework agreement is due to expire on 31 December 2026.

The Corporate Director Community approves the commencement of procurement for the provision of North Yorkshire Council’s Site and Event Security provision. The current framework agreement is due to expire on 31 December 2026.

Reasons for the decision:

To enable a full and compliant procurement process to be undertaken, ensuring that a suitably qualified security provider is appointed to deliver site and event security services across key North Yorkshire venues upon expiry of the current contract.

None considered as this is a new procurement exercise.
