Reasons for the decision:

North Yorkshire Council is required to publish a Biodiversity Report in accordance with statutory guidance, therefore authority to publish Biodiversity Duty report is recommended.

Alternative options considered:

We have been required to follow the Biodiversity Duty reporting statutory guidance set out by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and so no alternative options have been considered.
