Approval to enter into a new contract (initial two-year term, with the option to extend further by two periods of 12 months) for postal services following conclusion of a procurement process led by YPO and Kirklees Council on behalf of 26 contracting authorities.

Reasons for the decision:

To ensure the Council’s postal service provision can continue and remain functional.

The collaborative approach across 26 contracting authorities delivers the most cost effective solution for the Council.
