That Councillor Tim Grogan be elected as Chair for the duration of the meeting.

The Sub Committee agreed the procedure for the meeting as outlined by the Chair.

Exclusion of the press and public

That under Section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the press and public were excluded from the meeting during consideration of the item of business at minute number 6 on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act as the Panel was satisfied that the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighed the public interest in disclosing the information.

Review of Premises Licence PL807 - Lewiatan, Sackville Street, Skipton.

Minutes:

The Corporate Director, Environment sought the determination by the Sub-Committee of an application for the review of a Premises Licence for Lewiatan, 7 Sackville Street, Skipton, BD23 2PB

 

The options available to the Sub-Committee were

 

·       To modify the conditions of the licence

·       To exclude from the licence a licensable activity

·       To remove the Designated Premises Supervisor

·       To suspend the licence for a period not exceeding three months

·       To revoke the licence

·       To leave the licence in its existing state

 

Decision

 

The Sub-Committee members considered all written and oral representations from all parties and unanimously agreed to REVOKE the premises licence.
