Additional documents: Minutes: Considered A report seeking consideration of an application for the grant of a premises licence in respect of The Treasury, 4 Baxtergate, Whitby, North Yorkshire. The premises were described as a bar, restaurant and café. The licensable activities and permitted hours requested in the application are as follows: Official sale of alcohol (both on and off sales) Sunday to Thursday - 08:00 to 23:00 Friday & Saturday – 08:00 to 03:00. Live music (both indoors & Outdoors) Sunday to Thursday - 10:00 to 23:00 Friday & Saturday – 10:00 to 03:00. Recorded music (both indoors & Outdoors) Sunday to Thursday - 08:00 to 23:00 Friday & Saturday – 08:00 to 03:00. Opening Hours Sunday to Thursday - 08:00 to 23:00 Friday & Saturday – 08:00 to 03:00. Following consultation with North Yorkshire Police and the Environmental Health department, the applicant had agreed to reduce the proposed hours for the following licensable activities: Sale of alcohol (both on and off sales) Sunday to Thursday – 08:00 -22:30 Friday & Saturday – 08:00 - 02:30. Representations from all parties were considered alongside the report and cross questioning was undertaken. The Sub-Committee considered all written and oral representations from all parties and taking into account all of the details provided. Resolved That with a view to promoting the licensing objectives, as detailed in the report and having regard to the Statement of Licensing Policy and the Statutory Guidance issued under Section 182 of the Act, the licence as applied for and subject to the conditions detailed in the report and consistent with the applicant’s operating schedule be granted |
