To elect a Member to act as Chair of the meeting

There were no declarations of interest.

To confirm the procedure to be followed at the meeting.

The attached procedure was confirmed.

To consider passing a resolution under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 excluding the press and public from the meeting during consideration of item 6 on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act.

Resolved –

That on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 as amended by the Local government (Access to Information) (Variation) Order 2006, the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of Minute 57.

To receive a report from the Corporate Director of Environment.  

Resolved –

That the application to renew a Hackney Carriage vehicle licence be granted for a period of 12 months, subject to the vehicle being subjected to thrice yearly testing.
