Exclusion of the Press and Public

To consider passing a resolution under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 excluding the press and public from the meeting during consideration of item 6 on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1,2 and 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act.

Resolved –

 

That on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 as amended by the Local government (Access to Information) (Variation) Order 2006, the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of Minute 132.

Review of a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Dual Driver Licence

To receive a report from the Corporate Director of Environment

Resolved –

 

To take no action and to allow the driver to continue to hold a Dual Drivers Licence for Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicles with the condition that this serves as a final warning as to the driver’s conduct, and that any further conviction, failure to pass a compliance test, accident or any incident whereby a complaint of any nature is likely to be made must be reported to the Council and the driver’s employer.
