At an informal Meeting of the Pension Board
Committee held on 7th October 2021 Members considered the
nomination of, Sam Thompson (Hambleton DC) to fill the vacant
Scheme Member Representative position on the Board. Reserve
Employer Representative, and the nomination of David Hawkins (York
College), to fill the vacant Employer representative
position.
The Chairman explained the process for the appointments with
approval required by the full County Council as the Administering
Authority.
Resolved -
That the following appointments be recommended to the next meeting
of the full County Council for a four year period:-
- Scheme Member Representative – Sam Thompson (Hambleton
DC)
- Employer Representative – David Hawkins (York
College)
By whom: Richard Flinton, Chief Executive Officer, under his
emergency delegated powers and after consultation with the Pension
Fund Committee.
PLEASE NOTE that as a non-executive function, this decision is not
open to call in.
