The Chief Executive Officer recommended formal
approval, under his emergency delegated decision making powers, of
the Local Code of Corporate Governance (Appendix A to the report)
“Corporate Governance” which was considered at the
informal meeting of Audit Committee Members on 21 March 2022.
In this decision, the Chief Executive Officer is providing formal
approval of the Local Code of Corporate Governance under paragraph
4.1(m) of the Officers’ Delegation Scheme, in consultation
with the Leader of the Council, the Executive Member for Central
Services, the Corporate Director Strategic Resources and the
Assistant Chief Executive (Legal and Democratic Services).
