That having undertaken the required
preliminary checks, the Executive Member resolved that the four key
issues listed in paragraph 8.2 have been satisfied and there can be
a determination of the proposals.
That the following proposal be determined:
1. To cease to maintain Swainby and Potto Church of England
Voluntary Aided Primary School with effect from 31 December
2017.
2. To extend the catchment area of Carlton & Faceby Voluntary
Aided Primary School and Hutton Rudby Primary School with effect
from 1 January 2018 to serve the area currently served by Swainby
and Potto Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School.
3. That the transport qualifying period should be from April 2017
under the terms set out in sections 5.3.1 to 5.3.9 of the report to
the Governing Body dated 14 April 2017 (attached as annex B to the
report to the Executive Member)
