Monitoring of Yorkshire Water sewage spills into rivers and streams

We the undersigned petition the Council to Please monitor the number and amount of raw sewage that Yorkshire Water have and are currently releasing into the rivers and streams and lobby Yorkshire Water and the Environment Agency to reduce raw sewage discharges as soon as possible.

I am a reader of the i paper who has a campaign called Save Britain's Rivers which covers a surprising number of sewage spills across the country. The amount and number of spills in unacceptable and water companies need to be brought to account, including our local water company - Yorkshire Water for any environmental damage it has caused.
