Seek approval to submit a bid to the National
Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) for a Health
Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC).
The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) are seeking
applications to fund a set of innovative research collaborations
between local government and the academic sector that focus on
improving the wider determinants, or drivers, of health. The
funding is for up to £5million across a 5-year period and is
intended to improve the capacity and capability for research within
the local authority to aid evidence driven decision making.
