Grant Acceptance – York & North Yorkshire Careers Hub Network

 

 

To consider approval for grant acceptance of the grant funding provided by Department for Education via the Careers Enterprise Company, to support the Careers Hub Network service across York and North Yorkshire for the academic year 1 September 2023 to 31 August 2024. The service is provided by York and North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership, for whom North Yorkshire Council acts as Accountable Body.

Reason for urgency:
The Grant Offer was received on 27 June and required acceptance by return. Urgent Decision is required to enable the grant acceptance to be completed, prior to letting a contract extension for continuation the service beyond the existing contract period which ends on 31 August 2023. The Department for Education are aware of the current delay due to requirement to complete process for Executive Member sign-off.
