of Community Involvement (as amended) is brought back for
consideration of any issues raised. The purpose is to adopt the
Statement of Community Involvement and use it to ensure engagement
of communities and other interested parties in the preparation of
the local plan and other policy documents, consideration of
planning applications, enforcement and other areas of
planning.

Consultation process
The Planning Service uses its consultee
database that holds the details of persons and organisations who
have expressed an interest in being involved in the local plan and
other planning policy matters. Consultation takes place with all
these entrants by means of the online local plan portal or their
other preferred means of contact.

The draft Statement of Community Involvement
is subject to consultation with the community and other interested
organisations, developers and businesses in accordance with the
Town and Planning Regulations and legislation.
