Household Support Fund – Phase 5

To set out, and seek approval for, the deployment of a fifth Household Support Fund (HSF) allocation (1 April – 30 September 2024) in order to provide assistance to vulnerable and low-income households in most need of support, and to help with significantly rising living costs over the next 6 months.

North Yorkshire Council’s Household Support Fund Project Board, which comprises Officers from Revenues and Benefits, Customer Services, Health and Adult Services, Localities, Libraries and Communications).

A customer engagement exercise was also undertaken in March 2024 to understand the customer experience of Household Support Fund.
