Procurement for the new Mobile Library

 

 

The current Mobile library is approaching end of life. As the bid was successful in March 2024 and the grant of £150,000 awarded, a decision is now required to undertake the procurement to award the contract to successful tenderer.

Reason for urgency:
An urgent decision is requested so that the order for the chassis can be placed. The timing of delivery is out of our and the contractor’s control and is the most likely reason for the project to fall behind schedule. It is beneficial for the project for the order to be placed as soon as possible.
