Supply of Harbour Liquid Fuel and Tank Provision

To seek approval to:
i. procure a new fuel and fuel tank supplier for Scarborough Harbour following the surrender of the lease by the existing supplier and
ii. delegate authority to the Corporate Director - Environment to enter into a new lease/supply agreement for up to a 15- year period. Initial Term (10 years) Option to extend (5 years).

The Council is seeking a fuel supplier to:
• Provide marine fuel directly to the consumer at no cost to the Authority
• Supply, installation and maintenance of a fuel tank for storage at no cost to the Authority.
The procurement also includes the option of including the fuel supply and tanks lease for Whitby Harbour upon its expiry in 2036.
