This report informs the Executive that the lift has remained out of service since 2022. It outlines the available options for addressing the issue and seeks approval to proceed with the recommended course of action.
A replacement bus service has been in operation and will continue throughout 2025 to mitigate the impact of the lift closure.
The report also requests approval for a capital budget allocation of £600,000 to undertake the necessary works.
