To obtain approval from the Executive to acquire up to 26 new build properties various localities for use as affordable rented accommodation and shared ownership to take into the Housing Revenue Account.
The acquisition of these homes will increase the supply of affordable rented and shared ownership housing and will also form part of our aspiration to deliver 500 new Council homes over the next 5 years.
