To provide a detailed update on work relating
to the proposed alternative operating model for duties currently
undertaken by Highway Officers, Assistant Highway Officers and some
Maintenance Managers in North Yorkshire Council’s
(NYC’s) Highway Operations Area teams, and mechanical
sweepers and to seek approval for implementation of new ways of
delivering these services via NY Highways (NYH). The proposed
alternative method of service delivery will contribute to the
Council's wider transformation savings agenda.
