To seek approval for the procurement of gym
and cycle equipment and associated maintenance services to support
Active North Yorkshire’s leisure and wellbeing provision
across 17 hubs. This includes £3m FFE (Fixtures, Fittings and
Equipment) investment into new gym equipment as agreed at Cabinet
in November 2025 alongside the circa. £36m leisure investment
planned at hubs in Selby, Skipton, Whitby and Pickering.
The procurement will cover the supply, delivery, and installation
of gym and studio equipment, along with ongoing maintenance and
technical support.
Approval is required to proceed with the procurement and
implementation of the gym equipment and maintenance solution.
