Members of the public may ask questions or make statements at this meeting if they have given notice to Dawn Drury of Democratic Services and supplied the text (contact details below) by midday on Friday 20 September 2024, three working days before the day of the meeting.  Each speaker should limit themselves to 3 minutes on any item.  Members of the public who have given notice will be invited to speak:-

·         at this point in the meeting if their questions/statements relate to matters which are not otherwise on the Agenda (subject to an overall time limit of 30 minutes);

·         when the relevant Agenda item is being considered if they wish to speak on a matter which is on the Agenda for this meeting.

If you are exercising your right to speak at this meeting, but do not wish to be recorded, please inform the Chairman who will instruct anyone who may be taking a recording to cease while you speak.

Purpose: To update LAF members on developments since the last meeting.

Purpose: An opportunity for LAF members to update the Forum on LAF representative project activity since the last meeting.

To consider, agree and adopt the revised Terms of Reference put forward by the LAF Terms of Reference Sub-Group.  (Document shown with track changes for ease of reading)

A presentation to provide members with an overview of the background, context and objectives of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) for North Yorkshire and York,

The Senior Officer, People, Landscapes, Access and Nature to attend, to provide a verbal update to Members.

Members to consider and appoint a replacement representative for future stakeholder group meetings following the resignation of David Lepper.

Members are asked to consider and agree a response to Fountains Forestry UK Ltd.

To receive a verbal update on the re-structure of the Planning department.

Any other items which the Chair agrees should be considered as a matter of urgency because of special circumstances

To note the current Forward Plan and consider any additions or amendments.
