To support all the individual recommendations
set out in the report ‘Review of Traffic Regulation Order
2015 (1) Objections – Area 6 Boroughbridge’ in response
to the advertisement of two Traffic Regulation Orders promoted
under The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, titled;-
• North Yorkshire County Council (Harrogate, Knaresborough,
Pannal and Burn Bridge) (Parking and Waiting) (No.20) Order 2015 -
covering parking and waiting restriction proposals in the Harrogate
and Knaresborough urban area.
• North Yorkshire County Council (Various Roads, Borough of
Harrogate) (Parking and Waiting) (No.36) Order 2015 - covering
proposals in Ripon, Boroughbridge and Killinghall.
In addition, a specific requirement was made by the Executive in
regard to Item 1 of Appendix B of the aforementioned Report,
Parliament Street, Harrogate (Taxi Rank proposal); officers are to
review the operation of the taxi rank and report back to the
Executive their findings in 12 months’ time.
