THE CHARTER TRUSTEES FOR HARROGATE WERE DISSOLVED ON 6 MAY 2025
FOLLOWING THE CREATION OF HARROGATE TOWN COUNCIL.
The details on this page are included for information only.
The Charter Trustees for Harrogate ensure the continuation of
the civic, historic and ceremonial traditions of the unparished part of the
former Borough of Harrogate and are responsible for choosing a Mayor and Deputy
Mayor from the appointed Trustees annually.
The Trustees are North Yorkshire Council Councillors
representing the electoral divisions falling wholly or partly within the
unparished part of the former Harrogate Borough. These electoral
divisions are those covering Harrogate town.
